Extremely hard, gives no study guides for the test, completely overloads you with information, hard to study, boring. I went to class everyday & studied my notes and read the chapter and never made above a C on a test. It is impossible to listen to him the entire class period bc he mumbles half the time and when you miss one word he says youre f'ed

I have had him for 225 and 226. i loved him but he is hard. there is no extra credit, homework, attendance grade, or quizes to help you out. he also does not let you see your tests which i hate, but he really smart. he doesn't answer questions in class but doesn't mind you coming by his office to ask him anything. i liked him.

I LOVE WAKEMAN! He is so cute! His class is pretty hard though. If you pay attention and take notes, you will pass, but I have not made an A on one of his tests yet. There is no bonus. It's a fast paced class and you need to stay on top if your studying. He is a great teacher and I learned a lot.

I had him for 225 and 227, if you go to class and study the notes, you WILL make an A! Alot of students did not come to class except for test day, and I still do not know how they did this?? I enjoyed him and would recommend DR. Wakeman to future students!

had him for both 225 and 227 but also had no choice. The biology department needs better teachers. He made what should have been an interesting class absurdly boring. You really don't even need to show up if you have someone else's notes since he never changes his lecture.

He is so boring and it was practically impossible to pay attention in his class because I could not stay focused. If you expect to make an A in the class memorize the notes word for word because there is not telling what he's going to ask on the test.

Dr. Wakeman is hard. I learned so much in his class tho. If you can get the notes, you dont have to go to class. To make an A on his test, know everything in your notes. Dont just memorize it, KNOW IT thoroughly and you should be fine. He has NO bonus and 4 test THATS IT!!!

Go to class, take notes. Read over them, then take the online pretests. You'll make a good grade. I SUCK at memorization, and i pulled off a high B. About 15% of his test questions come from the book, but the online test questions cover them, generally. Tests are straightforward, class is easy to follow, by far my favorite class this year.

Material not too difficult but test questions can be tricky. To get an A or a B in the class, you had to write a research paper, but the paper was worth zero points. if you like anatomy, this class is great. if you know the material, the tests are easy. print out notes he puts on blackboard, take notes in class, and take the online quizes at the books website. then you will get an a. his test questions can sometimes be found at the end of the chapter in the book, and sometimes at his personal website.
