Great professor. He likes to draw his explanations of how the cell operates. The tests are take home, which is excellent because they are usually 5 questions and you can draw pictures and explain your answer. He has a lot of experience and I love to hear him talk about his Anartica trip!

Jack encourages students to think in all dimensions no matter what class it is. When the class is done, you will probably learn as much about yourself and the world as you do in the course, which is invaluable in the long run. (Not that his classes are easy though.) He truly believes in learning rather than meaninglessly striving for the grade.
