This is not an easy course, esp. taught by him. I had to take it over with professor Sutter and passed. Kirkland is very boring. Reading is the best way to pass his class. He doesn't round grades either.

Best econ prof I've ever had. Warning: expects you to be an adult - arrive on time - study the material. No babysitting in this class. No bias. Study, he'll explain. Don't care & he won't either. Park attitude at door. Nice to not be spoon fed. As a returning student, felt like interaction with adult, rather than HS like so many classes today.

Do NOT be 1 second late, as he has the World Clock time projected on the board, blocks, then locks the door at exactly 10:00. I don't think he liked International students. He HATES "cellular telephones". HOWEVER, he let me drop the day before the final and turned into the nicest guy ever. He told me to come back if I ever needed anything. Weird.

Its not that Kirkland is necessarily a "terrible" teacher. He is just distracting. He mumbles and he talks softly so sit close. He also takes up the ENTIRE class. Its not a bird course, so look elsewhere if thats what you want. He knows his stuff, he is just boring. Take good notes. REALLY good notes. You'll be fine.

Worst teacher I've ever had. I've been an online student with Troy for years & never experienced a teacher like this; rude, negative, & unhelpful. Took multiple times to get simple questions answered. Seemed uninterested in student achievement & progress. Ruined subject for me, and I've never had problems with teachers before, even difficult ones.

His class was difficult, but his tests were fair. Show up to class, take notes, and read the textbook carefully. The probblem with this professor lies in his attitude. The guy is too easily irritable and basically unapproachable if you have questions. I would not recommend simply because of that.

Dr. Kirkland explains everything carefully. He does go fast, but that is only because microecnomics contains a lot of material to cover. He helps students who need it. His tests are a bit tricky. Be sure to pay attention to lecture, take the online quizzes, and skim the textbook.

SHORT MAN SYNDROME! He is the worst teacher Ive ever had. His notes are terrible and very disorganized. He locks the door at exactly the time that class is supposed to start. The only good thing about him is that he doesnt take attendance. He is very rude to students. I dropped the class when i had a B. thats how bad his class is!

Worst teacher ever! I studied very hard for his tests and never did as well as I felt that I should've. He is not very helpful and is always irrated. Very boing class too. Maybe if he were too et us actually look at the tests aterward, grades would be better. I would not recommend anyone to take him but if you do, don't be late!!!

THE WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER TAKING!!!!!!!!! This guy absolutely sucks at teaching. Extremely mean. BORING AS HELL!! We were taking notes one day and he took the notes off the screen before we could finish so we asked him to put them back up so we could get the rest of it and HE TOLD US TO RIGHT FASTER!!! This guy should absolutely get FIRED!!
