"Call me Jacob" he is a realy nice guy, but the first class I ever had him I counted him saying "um" 40 times in like 5 minutes (Canadian). Tests are hard but he realy loves the subject which makes it a lot more fun in class. All around if your serious about Art History he is the one to take it with, If your looking for an easy "A" he is NOT your man.

Wonderful man, very helpful and a great teacher. He loves what he does and he tries to get everyone involved. I really got a lot out of his class. He prepares everyone well for the midterm and final, just take good notes.

He is very enthusiastic and clearly, he knows his stuff, and can teach it extremely well. You won't need the text book much, but it is helpful for review. He tells you exactly what you need to study, for the midterm and the final. The class itself is boring, but easy if you can memorize stuff.

He is one of the best professors I've ever had. I took many classes with him while I was in college since the Art History Department is so small and I enjoyed every single class I took. His teaching really inspired me.
