This class is a super easy A. This class is mostly discussion. She is a very easy grader. She is so understanding and extremely helpful in helping you to get a good grade. I have taken 2 classes from her, and will be taking a third because I love her teaching style so much. It is almost impossible to get below and A in her class. TAKE HER CLASSES

Dr Thursby is sweet.. Until you need something. She didn't send around the roll twice, and wouldn't give me the attendance points for it. She was also very condescending when I asked if I could pick up my term paper after I was sick and missed her handing them out. Easy class, though.

This class was great. It was mostly discussion, and the hardest thing was the 10 page research paper, but she was very easy on the grading. She simply enjoys student's input and insight. She isn't harsh at all. I loved her class.

Professor Thursby is an extremely easy grader. If you simply do the assignment in clear English you will receive full points. Attendance is mandatory, and participation is much appreciated. She assigns a few readings each class, but if you only read one and contribute to class discussion, no one will know.

interesting, really cares about the students, knows the subject incredibly well. gets papers back to you incredibly fast, show up, turn in assignments, show interest and you'll be fine. She even asked me for copies of my paper to use as examples or in her future publishing. made folklore come alive.

She is a good teacher but most of the class time is wasted on watching movies. Class is extremely mandatory, and her attendance policy is enforced, my "A" was dropped severely because i got sick. She is unforgiving if you miss class.

I loved this class! Professor Thursby really cares about her students and wants you to get an A. That being said, she also is a fabulous teacher and I learned things in this class that I'll never forget. Readings are fun and interesting. I am much more interested in mythology now than I was at the start. Take from her!!

BORING! The class is super easy: reading responses every class, a book report that can even be on Harry Potter, a couple other pretty fun assignments. Easy grader. Easy midterm, all on keywords (and she gives you a list). Lectures are so dull.

Great teacher, great knowledge of subject. A lot of projects to do, but they're usually fun and generally not busywork, but a useful project to learn material. Tests are clear and if you pay attention you'll do well.
