I graduated 10 years ago. He is beyond awful and difficult to understand. Our entire class used to march down to the Physics dept. to complain about him. I can't believe this guy is still teaching. I guess he brings in a lot of money through his research and that's why they keep him. Great priorities UA....

He's been doing this for a while so he thinks all the material is "common sense" and expects you to figure the material out instantly. When you ask for help he says that it is "common sense". If you want to learn or get a good grade in his class you will have to devote extensive time to the textbook.

Worst professor ever, I was taking my hardest semester and got A's in every other class except for this one, ruining what would have been a 4.0. DO NOT TAKE PHYSICS WITH HIM!!!!!! I now have to relearn physics on my own for the mcat since I learned nothing in his class. He is rude, mean, and incomprehensible.

Definitely the worst professor i've have in my life. Completely incomprehensible, classes are boring and unnecessary, and his quizzes are filled with complete BS! He literally said, "it doesn't matter what says de question, only de answers." Meaning answers dont have any correlation with the question which is F*$#ing frustrating. NEVER TAKE THIS!!!

This man is the worst professor I have ever had. The first half of the semester he showed up less than 5 times, and left his TA (who did not speak Enlish) to teach. He refuses to explain himself and makes you feel like a moron asking for clarification.

Appears to be knowledgeable on subject matter, but has difficulty conveying it in an understandable format. Lectures are unorganized monotone ramblings. Has devil may care attitude towards teaching, for instance, is never present during quizes. Quizes themselves are often filled with typos, incorrect grammar and word usage.

Prof. Garg is a nice and very smart man, but he should stay out of a classroom. Show up to every one of his classes and you might catch a helpful suggestion or two, but you will be learning physics from the book if you are stuck with him. Graded with a good curve, but the one-question quizzes were rather painful. You mess up once, you fail the quiz

I love Astronomy, and I'm really glad that I had already taken one in hs. I took this class, hoping that I'd gain even more knowledge about the stars. Alas, no. Very hard of hearing, impossible accent (and I'm not bad with accents), and I did an experiment to see if I'd get the same grades by not going. I did. Don't take this atrocity.
