This was the best professor I have ever had on my university. She was super helpful and always available every single day. Most online teachers are on once a week and don't even notice their email notifications, I can get multiple responses a day with her, she is very polite, patient and has a passion for teacher and electronic publication.

I have been a Graphic Designer for over 20 years and I learned a great deal from Professor Wainright. "5" under the "Easiness" rating doesn't mean that her class was too easy. I've been in the business for a number of years but I still learned a great deal from Prof. Wainright and she should be commended for her efforts.

After being in the work force for many years, I returned to college full-time after being laid off. I called the college and was directed to Professor Wainright and she played an instrumental part in my decision to return full-time. She is very encouraging, never condescending. She is the reason I decided to become and art major because she accepts you for who you are and doesn't try to push her ideas on you. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and had a great time! If you do the work, she will like you and give you an A.

Great Class! She does not grade you on your ability to draw, but if you understood the lesson. She is always there to help with art projects. No book or exams, but you have a lot of projects. Buy art supplies because you will need it.

A wonderful person with a knowledge not just in art, but of life. Genuinely kind always. Extremely creative and unconventional. All on this site claiming she has a lack of knowledge or incompetence have an inflated sense of their own worth. To take liberty in judging Prof. Wainright, who is not only head of the department, but tenured, be ashamed.

Design Fundamental: this class was great, except for the fact that it is 2 hrs long, but i loved it. She doesnt grade you on you ability to draw, its more about the effort you put into it. I learned a lot about designing things and i really enjoyed the freedom allowed when doing projects. She is very understanding and a great teacher!

Probably one of the most flexible and nicest teachers I have had while at Westfield State. You can tell that she really loves her job and really cares about her students. I would highly recommend this teacher to anyone! Also, gives a break during class which is really nice and helps break up the long class. Great teacher, dont read the bad reviews!
