A VERY knowledgable prof. Lectures can get boring, but he cares about his students. He is very flexible with deadlines! A nice man-I secretly referred to him as "Grandpa Albie."

He is one of those people who talks to hear himself talk. He goes off on tangents a lot. He says we will get out early, then digresses for fort-five minutes about something way off-topic. Very understanding though, and seems like he really cares about students. There is something about him that is really "off" though.

Sure he's an old guy so respect your elders but...i hated, hated, hated the class. The guys wanted us to know everything. Very difficult if you don't have a religious/biblical background this class is very difficult. I hated going to class. Tests were hard and questions were out of nowhere. Had to memorize everything. do pass/fail, if at all.

The information presented in this class was way more in depth then what should be at 200 level class. Theo200 is the "Christian Tradition" class... and yet we had to learn the 5 pillars of Islam? relevant? I think not.

he lost all my informal writings, and when i told him i no longer had them on my computer, HE MADE ME WRITE NEW ONES!!(20) then on the portfolio, where classmates with other profs did nothing and got an A for it, albers said it was good, but not "A material" so he gave me a "B++" What the hell is that? this dropped my grade to a B

he is a good guy and very lenient on when things are due, but he can ramble on and put you to sleep when we should be discussing. His tests ask for way too much detail and don't always focus on the main issues. core tests should not be nearly that hard
