The class was very interesting, and his lectures always left me with new information, or a new take on things I already knew. 3 papers, a final, no midterm, no other tests.

Very smart, and very particular. He is looking for a certain answer if you don't have it you will be shot down. He really isn't open to different points of view.

Albisetti is absurdly smart, and so detailed that it can sometimes be overwhelming. He can come across as intimidating but he means well. If you go to class, take notes, read the book and do the papers you will pass. A lot of work but very rewarding.

Professor Albisetti is incredibly smart and knows so much about this material. He can me monotonous at times, but the information is useful and interesting. Perfect class for a History major. Go to class, skim the readings, take notes of key words and write the papers. Do those things and you'll do just fine.

Smart man, but he teaches material he's known for decades, so he wants a very specific set of answers for his questions. The papers can be somewhat difficult, but going to his office hours helps. Overall, not a bad honor's class.

Great choices of readings. He is also a brilliant man. However, if you do not agree with him, this class can be a pain. His class unfortunately caters to suck-ups quite a bit (go to office hours, write papers that say exactly what he said in class). Other honors teachers engage the class more.

Dr. Albisetti expects the best, but he is a great guy! Very willing to help. He also has an offbeat sense of humor that cracks me up.

He is a really nice guy, but you HAVE to come to class prepared because he will call you out and ask you questions. The questions for the papers are pretty hard and you have to think about them, but they help you become a better writer.

He is a nerdy history professor most history professors are nerdy. I think he is an alright guy though.
