Spring 06 for Conlaw 1- Guy has issues expressing himself but knows his material. Clearly wanted to spout off a few times, but kept himself in check. Not the best, but def. not the worst

I worked harder than any other class and ended up helping everyone else who didn't read...and STILL ended up with a poor grade! His teaching style is practically incomprehensible (at best)Probably my fault for caring about others and wanting them to learn instead of just being in it for myself. Still, if you can avoid Blumstein you won't regret it.

Comment:

Blumstein is the stereotypical law professor (which fortunately is not the actual norm for law professors). He really enjoys humiliating students in class--which especially when targeting 1Ls is both unfair and cruel. He could be an average professor if he put the same passion into teaching as he does deriding students.
