Comment:
He assigns problem sets that he does not grade. He is unapproachable and responds to questions saying that we need to look in the notes because he already went over a similar problem in class. He is the worst professor at Siena College and the Economics Department. Avoid him if you can.

If you don't like group work and projects then do not take this class, you are assigned a group and pretty much work with them every class. Dr. Booker is an awkward and rude professor, if you ask him questions outside of class he will make you feel stupid.

Booker, Is one of the hardest teachers I have had in the Econ department at Siena. He hands out problem sets that are graded poorly, you put in so much time and effort and still seem to do bad. The tests are not like the Mock exams he hands out and His lectuers take forever. He is a good man and has good intentions but his teachings make zero sense

Dr. Booker was disorganized and didn't expand on the various subjects on the course. Although he explained mathematical problems used in environmental econ, he primarily focused on his strange obsession with dams rather than going into other aspects such as solid waste and brown fields. His midterm and final contained info not covered in the course

Dr B is an excellent economics teacher who does a great job making microeconomics concepts relevant and interesting. We often analyzed news articles that he picked, and they kept me motivated. He's also an excellent advisor and very helpful outside of class.

He might be one of the worst professors at Siena. His class was not structured or organized and his assignments were very unspecific. His exams didn't make sense half of the time and a majority of the class was confused during his lectures. I would absolutely avoid taking him for any class and I did not feel like I learned anything significant.

One of the most boring and pointless classes I've ever taken. I actually enjoy economic but this guy tore it to bits. His lectures were mostly about his life and never gave feedback/help during group projects. Even tutors wouldn't recommend his class. Tests and what is shown in class is different. Not clear on what to study/hw. Quizzes unhelpful.

Mr. Booker was one of the most unreasonable professors I've ever had. He also has no idea what he is talking about. The things he teaches, compared to the things in the book, are nothing like the tests. He is a ridiculously hard grader and does not give any extra help. He is a very very strange man, even though he means well, do not take him.

Dr. Booker is one of the nicest and most caring professors out there. He truly wants to see his students succeed. While participation was not mandatory, it helps you a lot in the class.

Just not a great professor. Assumes students know more than they actually do. Could not stand the class. Tests are ridiculously hard. Obviously was not a big fan of his.

I had him for 101, 201, 202, and Environmental Economics. He may be a bit quirky (but the best economists are) and overly energetic about the material, but he knows his stuff, and if you follow his methodology correctly, everything makes perfect sense. Always willing to help outside of class.

Dr. B is definitely a nice guy and is willing to help, but tests are hard. Data briefs are really easy because he tells you exactly what to include. Online Aplia quizzes can get confusing but dont really hurt your grade if you do badly. His lectures tend to be unorganized and hard piece together. Light work load but tough to get an A. J BOOGS!

Prof. Booker is not the best teacher. His lectures are really boring and sometimes diffcult to follow. The online quizes are annoying as well as the data brief assignments. He is not too bad.

His online quizzes are pretty easy to ace since you have two chances to take them. Tests, however, are much harder since he rarely covers all the material on them. He has a nerdy personality which makes a lot of the things he says come off as strange. Other than all that, he's a good professor and worth taking.

Booker is ok...his tests are pretty hard because they dont have to do with anything he teaches in class....other than that hes pretty legit...he gives quizes online but you have two oppurtunities to take it so he drops the lowest grade. I would most likely take him again =)
