Comment:

This was by far the toughest class I have taken. He is very old school, doesn't use technology much, mostly just lectures. He does a lot of examples on the board though. There is no classwork grades, just a few tests and thats it. Tests are tough but he tries to give you some points in your attempt. He is very willing to help you! Does Magic Tricks

I think he needs to retire because he is too old fashion. He doesn't use power point, Owl, or the book. I read the chapters before class and I leave class more confused. I would not recommend any one who are not good at chemistry to take his class. Don't get me wrong he is a great person just not as a professor.

Since he was the only teacher who taught this class, I was actually forced. He is a very sweet guy I'll give him that. Very helpful too. I reviewed all his old tests to study, went to office hours, went to study sessions, and I STILL got a D. I would not recommend him at all.

If you are looking to be challenged and you really want to LEARN Chemistry, this professor is perfect for you. He really knows his stuff and while he is not easy by any means, he is always available and willing to help you. I would take this professor again in a heartbeat.

I would not recommend this professor. He doesn't use power points to help with his lectures and he doesn't give quizzes or homework. Your grade is based on what you make on the test and there are only 3 test(Doesn't include the final). The test are hard and the study guides do not help. Do not take this class he doesnt give enough grades.

I took Dr. Braun for the second semester of Chemistry my first semester at CSU as a transfer student. He is awesome and if you study, attend SI sessions, you will pass. He does not give extra credit, so don't expect any. He does not give quizzes, so don't expect any. He also does not drop test grades, so don't expect him too. I would take him again

AHH i love this teacher! he is so funny & makes teaching interesting. Every friday he tends to do a little trick to entertain the class. He always make funny remarks. You can never get bored. Also gives 10 points of the start of the semester. only way to lose it if he hears a phone goes off & its 2 points each. Overall he is a AWESOME teacher

This class is hard but Dr. Braun is the only professor that truly cares about his students. He is always available to help and all you have to do is come to every class and listen or you will fall behind in a hurry. Hardly ever used my book, just listen to him.

He has three tests and the final, which is worth two tests. The class is hard but he is a great teacher. He knows what hes talking about and always willing to answer questions. Before his tests he always has a study session outside of class where he'll answer anything you have a problem with. Your going to have to work for an A though.

Dr. Braun is a very helpful teacher. He is very passionate about Chemistry and has many study sessions to his students. The class is not easy so you will have to do alot of study and test are kind of tricky. I would take Braun again as he make Chemistry so interesting.
