He's a nice man but he doesn't teach enough and isn't structured. I had to basically teach myself because his lectures and assignments offered minimal content and insight. I really wish that he cared about teaching because he has the potential but its seldom ever activated. Take him for a good grade, avoid him if you want your knowledge expanded

He's a nice man but a horrible teacher. The work he gives is easy but useless. He just reads slides in class which weren't even his own. We only had 1 real assnmnt. Also, He skipped html which was supposed to be covered in this course. You will learn very little java from him & you'll be unprepared for 3140. Exams are identical to the review sheet.

Easy test. Gives review before each test and finals. You are better off reading before the class because all he does is read the power point, which you already have. You can pretty much do on your own. HW can be very unclear. But he is fair grader for tests. Study the review questions and you will get an A

What do I say?This professor is so kind and nice.I learnt a lot in this course.He ends class 20 mins early and covers roughly one chap per class.2 assignments(programs),1 midterm,final.He gives some review questions for the exams but you will also have other questions on the exam,so may have to go through publisher's slides or text book.Easy grader

The class was really boring and he wasn't always clear. The homeworks weren't that easy either. But he gave review questions for the midterm and final which were the same or similar to the ones on the actual tests so as long as you study those, you'll do fine.

A very nice guy who has a great deal of knowledge in his particular field, which seems to be algorithmic efficiency, traversal, etc (think medical data storage). His delivery is not always terribly lucid but he makes up for it with personality. Study the notes/slides as he tends to essentially lay out the test materials.

Tenured and washed-up, he is by far the worst professor in the department. Invariably, his class is as follows. Shows up and plays solitaire on the classroom computer. Hands out slides published with the textbook. Ends class an hour early with excuses ranging from having to visit his mechanic to call his 5 year-old daughter. No joke! Horrible!

Cox rocks. My experience with his class is this: I learned a lot, aced the exams, homeworks were a breeze. He's really cool, he reviews the material that will be on the exam (and by review i mean, gives you the questions that will appear on the exam), and he's an extremely lenient grader with the exams, hws and final grade.

the worst professor of computer science in brooklyn college. i took his 2 class, cis 41 and cis 27. he knows nothing about cis 41, all he does is to read the book for you. cis 27 is hard, he does not help anything to help you. and the worst thing is that he was absent for whole moth and give me a grade of c, feel terrible. never take him again.
