Excellent, extremely intelligent and engaging - just attending lectures will expand your vocabulary. Had him for CAN310 and CAN190, and I am very glad I had the opportunity to learn from Dr. Cullingham. Attend class - there are marks for participation, and do your work (he doesn't assign too much). Very thorough test reviews with no surprises

Had him as a prof three times and he basically taught/talked about the same things in all three courses.. Nonetheless, he's a very nice guy who cares about his student's success. A warning, he does tend to favor some students over others and told one of my classmates that her work was useless so take that as you will.

his marking methods are bias. He likes certain people/ideas over others. For someone who was a "journalist" his very small minded. Grading people is not his strong suit by far. He to hard people with cell phones. We pay to be there we should be able to do whatever we want.

Is a good person but he has hired awful profs. Everyone he hired has no teaching degree, they are random ppl who got fired from their jobs for a reason! He can be very ignorant to other ppls complaints or opinions. Should be fired with every other prof in the journalism program. Dont go to this school go somewhere there are real teachers!

his marking methods are bias.. if you dont write something that he agrees with he'll fail you. he is extremely boring and mono tone and constantly says "UHHHHHHHH" really loud and annoying.. the days i have with him make me want to kill myself..

wicked guy, awesome teacher. if you listen you can learn anything in the world from this guy. he is not just a teacher he genuinely gets to know his students on a deeper level. LOVE HIM. genius.

Cullingham is a horrible teacher with a bad attitude. He doesn't grade fairly and is totally biased. I've always left his classes feeling frustrated. He can't even write out an outline for any assignments. He simply throws ideas around and expects others to comply. Trust me, you don't want him as a prof. Cullingham should be given the boot.

James Cullingam is a jerk, plain and simple. he is rude, and does not compromise at all with ppl. he doesn't "hear anybody out", nor does he help. He thinks he knows everything, and for some reasonhe thinks he is good at what he does. A very ignorant man as well I might add. I think he should be fired. @ss!

James Cullingham is very nice, I also had him for computer assisted research (which was boring as hell) but it's not his fault. James yelled at me for reading the paper once...thats my fault tho. He didn't kick me out of school which was nice :)
