Good teacher, very interesting. Tends to exaggerate the severity of minor errors in real world. 1 small math error = 3000 people dead?

In the first couple days of class he will go on about how he will fail you if you think 3 + 7 = 10, among many other things to fail you for. After the first test he will probably tell the class how they all were saying "screw you dieball" when they took test, because they didn't want to do the problems correctly on purpose... or something...

He is clear as mud. he doesn't use examples in class. He writes equations all over the board not relating them. I would definitely avoid.

I was entirely unable to understand what Professor Dieball was talking about in lecture. He will talk about everything in the course in gory detail and then test on the easiest of the concepts. If you read the book and fully understand the homework, you will do alright. Grades very hard on lab, not too much of a help.

Poor professor. Never really had a flow to his teachings. Tells students they arent smart enough to be engineers. Note are sloppy/hard to follow. Would avoid

Great professor! Dr. Dieball really knows his stuff and always more than willing to help students understand the material. His tests are relatively easy, in my opinion. If you do your homework and really listen to lectures you will most likely get a good grade.

This guy is a piece of work, class is useless get used to teaching yourself the material because he doesnt help. Tells students to go to other schools because the physics department will rise up against you and fail you. This guy is a an a**hole.

Really Smart. Very helpful if you go in and ask. He goes on rants that are on topic but hard to keep up with but if you have the balls to ask, he will slow down and it will help. Didn't help my GPA but I definitly know the material.

Overall I don't know what to think about him. One moment he's helpful, the next moment he's telling you that you're stupid for not understanding something and that you'll never become an engineer. He's very socially awkward but the tests are straightforward and he curves. I just wish he wouldn't be such an **** sometimes when you are confused

"If you dont know this stuff, you will fail." He will say that line almost everyday. However, he is correct. If you dont go 2 class and take his notes, you will fail. Tests are easy if you study, will deffinitly have 2 put a good amount of time into this class. Good teacher, will take again if I can.

Professor Dieball knows his stuff! At times you can get lost in lecture but he is willing to help all students that ask for help. Not only that but he is willing to postpone assignments if students say that it would be more convenient. The exams are very tough!!! However, the final was not as bad as the exams.

This guy must have the most boring lectures known to man.. do not take him at 8 or even 9 in the morning or you will fall asleep. He does however teach this class fairly well he is a loser but what physics teacher isn't. You will bomb the first test but after that class is a breeze

He constantly reminds the class that they are screwed and cannot pass the class. He knows what he's talking about, but he isn't very good at teaching the material, encourages studying in groups and asking him for help, which is very necessary to understand what he was talking about in class

He's okay, but take off points for nothing. He will cross out one word on a lab and give a 55/60. Also, he is really negative, always telling people they're screwed. Tests are pretty difficult too, I had to study for 10 hrs each just to get an AB. Nice thing is he doesnt make you write labs, you just have a lab notebook that you write in.

Boring lecture. Hard homework. Easy tests and quizes. You can get an easy A in here with a little help on the Web Assign. He helps you a lot and is a great teacher. Sloppy hand writing is the worst thing. Other than that I have few complaints.

This class makes me want to kill my self. I hate it, and evey time i look up at the clock it appears that time is moving backwards. He's very unclear, and uses definitions that dont exist at all. He seems to be trying to teach us graduate methods our freshman year. It's realy bad.

Though his labs are easy, they are very spoonfed. His test aren't too bad, and he grades very FAIRLY. However, his lecture is awful. I usually had no clue what was going on. He doesn't introduce his problems and only teaches on theroy. During his problems he pulls numbers out of air at will. Though gives help for web assign, overall he sucks!
