Really takes time to help students learn how to become a legal writer. Tough. Tough. Tough class, but he works hard. If you want the help he will give it to you.

Good professor and seems to be straightforward. However, some of the things he corrects in one-on-one conferences he will mark down when grading. Very particular about wordy sentences.

Absolutely wonderful professor! He is my favorite professor at IU-Indy. He will go to the end of the world to help you if you need him. I owe my legal writing ability to write to him.

An OUTSTANDING professor - had him for 2 sem of legal writing. Other students were jealous bc their writing profs threw them in the deep end. Class handouts are essential. Put genuine effort into your research and briefs and he makes himself completely available for assistance. Ask thoughtful questions, get helpful responses.

I Had a very good experience with an instructor that is obviously passionate about good writing. He is respectful and very helpful. I couldn't picture him being much more helpful without writing the assignments for us. It is law school, after all. it isn't supposed to be easy.

Dimitri is a nice guy, but he did not really teach the materials or give constructive criticism. He would say that you "missed the boat" on a topic, but would not tell you why. Went to multiple office hours with him and it never helped me in writing my papers. I learned more from Professor Eggeson in 20 minutes about brief writing.

His clarity could use some work, both in class and in response to questions. I felt like he was playing hide-the-ball sometimes. Maybe that's just part of the course. A nice enough guy, but not as up front as I would have hoped.
