Really likable guy. Extremely kind, flexible with deadlines, and often a quite funny lecturer. It's clear he enjoys math, and he is a very easy grader. Should you be doing poorly in the class, you can earn whatever grade you receive on your final exam as your grade in the course, so: a bad year + an aced final = an A+ in the class.

An incredibly likable, decent, friendly, and fun-loving man. A very fair, compassionate grader, and admirably flexible when it comes to assignments, allowing me to do a stats-analysis project in lieu of term homework. Had tests where had he graded like others at Wes, instead of getting a low B, I would have failed or gotten a D.

Found his lectures to ramble and focus on theory rather than helping to explain the actual mathematical processes you need to use. Fine if that's what you want from a math class but if you aren't great at math take calc 1 with someone else.

good lessons, but i've gone into his office hours several times... he helps you out to a certain extent, but it really seems like he has no interest in seeing you do well on an individual level.

I had him for Math121 and now for 122. Great lecturer, lessons are clear. Entertaining personality. Can't miss class. The exams and weekly problem sets get harder as the course progresses, but go into his office hours and he's very helpful if you have specific questions. Cool guy.
