Drawing for Non Majors. Mr. Jur teaches the class understanding the no one is an art major but still holding students to a high standard. He expects to see a genuine attempt on every project (about 1 a week). If he sees you trying, he will encourage you and give you a good grade. Everyone in my class got an A, and everyone became a better artist.

Really enjoyed this teacher. He showed me how to draw. I had no idea how to draw anything and when I completed the course I was able to draw my self portrait & it actually looked like me. Easy and fun class to take.

I got through 101 without havig to do extra credit. The first quiz was in-class, everything else was take home. If you don't have an A (easy to get with unlimited extra credit) then you have to take his final which is supposed to basically make you fail.

Anyone can pass this class b/c the extra credit is unlimited. Prof could be interesting at times but class was not was I expected. It was also more of an art history class than exploring art in the way that I hoped that we would. Prof also forgot days that he had scheduled quizzes or tests and/or changed the days. Very annoying.
