In my experience, this man is very old-fashioned, very ivory tower, and very opiniated about modern music in a bad way. Seeing him play modern music with KWS has not changed my impression...rather, I would change my wording to "disdainful and uninterested."

I am not in his lessons...but I just wanted to mention the matter of favouritism. He picks favourites, gives them the world, and neglects his other students. He also abuses the school system. He needs to learn to respect other profs and realize that though he may produce god's gift to oboe...in the school's eyes... there is more to a degree.
