Easily the hardest class in the College of Business. Uses a guide he made instead of a textbook. DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR LAPTOP! If you do you will fall behind and trying to catch up on Tegrity is not fun at all! I spent hours on assignments and finished the class with a C

Wow. Just wow. STAY AWAY!!! Prof. McCabe is a grouch who routinely chastises and berates his students. His lectures are in no way helpful and it is nearly impossible to see his tiny handwriting on the whiteboards. Worst attitude I've ever witnessed from a professor, and least effective at instructing course material.

He's a tough instructor. He will have a quiz every class and I honestly guessed on most of the answers and somehow got good quiz grades. He DOES give a pretty generous curve and if you go see him he'll definitely try and help you understand. I got a B and I'd take him again.

I took Dr. McCabe's class several years ago & served as a TA for him later. His course is intended for Economics majors interested in econometric analysis. There is a lot of work, but I learned a lot and ended up doing this work professionally. Don't casually choose this class. Be sure you are really interested in devoting the time needed.

VERY HARD class. I respect McCabe for his knowledge and skill to teach such a detailed class but I did not enjoy the toughness while I was in it. If you want to get an A you can never fall behind in any of the work. We studied in groups and used prior classes finished homework and still only managed a B.

Don't take his class unless you're a Finance major. I'm an Econ major and took his class as a business elective and I regret it. His exams are extremely hard. The homeworks took 6-8 hours. I spent so much time on this class that it hurt my grade for other classes. Don't ask questions in class because he would just make you feel stupid.

Our teacher (Johnson) had surgery so we had him for the end of the class... Enough said. Everyone in their was taking this class to avoid him!!!
