Such a nice man once you get to know him. He will randomly ask questions during powerpoint lessons, so pay attention. There are 3 tests, 1 group project, and weekly current events. Knows a lot about the topic and the tests are taken right from the powerpoints, just need to put in a little effort.

Easy class, but I didn't enjoy his approach to the course. He also loves to put people on the spot, so avoid him if you don't like that. There are 3 tests, 1 group project, and almost weekly current events.

as a law and justice major, i took this to fill an elective spot. This class started off being my least favorite but as i got to know Murphy I really grew to love him and the class. he picked on me and teased me the entire semester and it was something i really enjoyed. you will NOT regret taking this class. Hes smart and well respected. love him

The man is a great person, very down to earth and cares about his students. Mid-term, final, and a 5 page project. Definitely need to do some studying but overall easy, would take again for any class, former officer and knows what he is talking about.

He was one of the best teachers I've had so far! Only midterm and final and one project that is done with a partner. There are a few homework assignments but nothing serious at all. He is great answering back to emails and quick to help however he can. Low use of text book if at all. Lets classes out a little early. Overall I'd take him again!

Very nice man.He keeps you interested. Tests and paper are easy. Cares about his students and wants them to succeed. I would take him again in any other subject.

He was such a sweet teacher. Most times class would be very interesting. He is a very helpful professor with very easy assignments. We had a research paper, presentation, and a final. It was definitely one of my easier classes. Take him if you can, he is very knowledgeable!
