I have actually taken 120, 311, 390, 498, 624, and 591 with this professor. 120 was in Fall of 1994 and 591 was Spring of 2015. (I got a job at Purdue after I graduated - in Psychology, thanks to him- and just basically never left). Do you really need to hear any more? Take any class you can with this man even if it's at 7:30 am.

He is one of the better lecturers I have ever had, but he gets off topic and goes on tangents quite a few times, which can be interesting. The book is helpful since he is also the one that wrote the book. Overall I think he was one of the better professors I have ever had.

He was pretty great ! and generally made class fairly interesting. i would recommend the class for sure. grades are basically only based on tests. but if you go to lecture you really barely even have to study.

Class was "Dracula: The Psychology of The Supernatural." Nairne was awesome. Very engaging and enthusiastic about the class. He is one of the few professors who can say that they don't agree with your opinion (the final paper was student-driven) but if you back it up he gives you full credit. Also, you are given the option to go to Romania!
