Professor Pasto is great. I loved the online class because it was super easy and manageable. Basically, there are 6 quizzes, questions on readings, class participations, and final reflection essay paper.. If you do everything you will get an A. I found readings interesting and unique in their context. I highly recommend him.

Not what I expected. Doesn't talk about your dreams, but more from readings and other cultures. Lotsss of reading each week. About 4 articles with 10+ pages. Two books as well. Discussions every week. Very easy grader and very nice guy.

Prof. Pasto dreams class was very interesting. His course is mostly readings and documentaries, Both are really interesting. It has you wondering where he ever found them. He is pretty slow to respond to email though, takes a few days, so don't email last minute! Class was basically 2 quizzes and weekly discussion. Just do the readings!

I took his dreams class in person and his religion class online. The readings are dense, he picks good stuff-- Freud, Durkheim, ethnographies, modern literature... Heavily discussion based so you have to DO THE READING! I wish he gave more lectures. The online class is just reading and discussion, no lecture at all. You'll get a lot out it though.

Professor Pasto is so nice! We covered a lot of material. One test (and we went over what was going to be on it) and 3 reflection paper. I feel like I learned a lot, without having to work extremely hard. I highly recommend taking this class!

Without one of the nicest professors I have ever had. He is willing to help students in anyway he can. The class is very interesting and the readings add to that. Only downside to this class is that it takes place on Friday nights :-/... a lot of reading for a level 200 class but it is over looked because he is so nice.

SUCH a nice professor--his classes are very interesting with videos & readings that make you wonder where he ever found them--but they're fascinating. He encourages a LOT of class discussion (so read everything!), and is a fair grader. Very caring; always had time for students & would always stay to talk if he had time. Dreams & Dreaming esp. good.

Not the most interesting class, but Prof Pasto is a good teacher. Easy class. The films he shows are very interesting, much more so than the readings. He does his best to make it fun. Very thoughtful, as well. Took his dreams class, too. Still a great guy, but that class was really confusing. Not recommended.

Professor Pasto was great. One of the things I liked most about him was that you felt like an adult in his class. Of course, this also means you need to apply yourself in order to learn. He does give little pop quizzes on the readings and there is a final paper for the course.

Took his Anthropology in Writing 150 class on a whim and I LOVED it. Easily the most interesting class I took freshman year. He is a a great professor and cares about his students. For the first time ever, I enjoyed writing a final research paper.

The readings for "Dreams and Dreaming" were kind of odd but substantial. He is an Ivy League graduate and teaches at BU, he knows his stuff definitely. His daughter was sick for a while which may have affected him in his teaching. He is very down to earth and nice...sexy too.

A lot of reading but very diverse. He's a very sweet guy who grades pretty easy. Follow all of his study guides,(he sticks close to those). Small quizzes almost every week and a few essays, not more than 2 pages. Fun class!
