CSC 102 is amazing with Prof. Patridge. Hes hilarious but the lectures can seem a little boring at times. Theres barely any work but the only thing Id watch out for is the team project. Its a super easy project but you still need to stay on task and make sure your team members participate because it affects your overall project grade!

Nice guy who really cares about his students. Lectures can trail off but attendance is graded. One final group project with a lot of small graded work through out the semester, just get them done and they're easy free marks. Offers extra credit. One 100 question midterm and final with the option to take online. Respect him and he will do the same.

It's not that the class is hard (just complete all the Labs and Graders before the semester and you're golden), it's the fact that the professor simply isn't all that good. His lectures are practically pointless and the entire time you're in the class room (lecture hall), you can just go on your laptop and watch Netflix. It's an easy class.

Professor rambles about computers and technology each class. One day it's all about virtual reality, and the next it's google. Very sarcastic and has a mean tone towards students. Quizzes on random technology facts and Microsoft "labs" online all due at the end of the semester. Assignments don't really relate to the lecture. Do the hw and pass.

This was probably the worst class I have ever taken in my life. He just stands up in the front of the class and lectures about who knows what and makes absolutely no sense & goes off on random topics frequently. All of the homework assignments were online so it was basically pointless to go to class. Definitely don't take this teacher!!

He's very old and tends to ramble during lecture. His tests are by the book, nothing he says during lecture helps with the test. If you skim the book and do the labs it's an easy A. I just didn't do two of the labs and it dropped my grade.

He's very passionate about the topic. I almost feel like his compassion for the subject gets in the way of him teaching it however. He doesn't really explain anything and gets carried away with himself when talking. If you do the labs and read the book you can pull off at least a B

This class is an easy A. If he gives you reviews for a test, make sure you copy everything down. Everything he goes over will be on the test. In other words, he gives you the answer... In chronological order. Very relaxed person and passionate about his subject.

All homework is done online, there are 12 TrueFalse quizzes with 10 questions each that can be done whenever as long as its done by the end of the semester and you can retake them until you get a 100. Each week you have to do an online lab that you need Microsoft 2013 for, I did these all at the library. Labs are easy and guides you what to do.

really cool teacher, down to earth and knows his stuff, but the class is BORING (not his fault though), easy class, if you fail this class you don't deserve to be in college

Good guy that knows alot about computers, but knows very little about teaching. Never answers emails. Gets off topic very easily and is easily distracted. He attempts to bribe students into participating by giving out pizza hut coupons to students who answer his questions correctly.

If you know anything at all about computers you will do fine. Online quizzes/labs, you can do them all on day 1 and get them out of the way if you really want to. There is a group project. It sucks, deal with it. Patridge is nice. Attendance is mandatory so just play flash games on your laptop during class. Easy class, not much else to say.

He is very inconsistent and never answered any of my three emails throughout the semester. This wouldn't have bothered me so much if he was not a COMPUTER teacher. He sometimes is rude and unfriendly..other times he seems nice. Easy class, if you can figure out things on your own.

Not a terrible class. Daily notes that are online. Attendance is mandatory but you can bring laptops and do other homework in the mean time. You can have cheat sheets for tests. Make sure to keep up with the labs and online quizzes. It's a mandatory class so you might as well take it with him.

Rambles about nothing for the entire period. Very boring, very dry, kind of clueless sometimes, particularly when it comes to resolving issues with his quizzes. Bring a laptop or a pillow. He does take attendance, but he doesn't care if you pay attention or not. Do the labs and read a little and you'll be fine.

This class was so boring and he was awful to listen to, but you really don?t have to pay attention in class. I brought my laptop every day and didn?t pay attention and was fine. He gives you a study guide for the mid-term and final and I just made flash cards for the terms and did fine.
