Comment:
Syllabus is filled with so much information that it makes it difficult to follow. Attendance is a must, but he's pretty lenient when it comes to being sick or having something to do as long as you email him ahead of time. The quizzes are short T/F online, but are worded in a way that makes them difficult. Recommend taking someone else.

Be prepared to know every little detail about MLA format and how to use it. He will tell you that you only need one source for a paper but then give you a C and say, "Should've used more sources.". If you make one grammatical error, C. Avoid this guy at all costs. I haven't received a C for a class since freshman year and this might be the next.

Professor Raschilla is a business man, he dresses up in a suit everyday. He knows what to expect in the business world and he is very straight forward. He has requirements so you better follow them or automatic D. Be prepared for group projects and online quizzes that are tricky. He does give lots of extra credit though. P.S lectures are boring.

Comment:
If you follow directions EXACTLY you will pass It's not a tough class he's just a horrible professor. If he says write 2 pages he means EXACTLY two or he will give you a D and not even read it. Easy class you don't really have to show up if you just keep up to date. One group project at the end of the semester, weekly quizzes, few papers.

Stay away from him! He is by far the worst professor I have ever taken. He does not give you any directions at all how to complete assignments. If you ask him he will tell you to look in the syllabus and laugh at you. I asked him if I could meet him in his office hours once and he told me, "I do not have office hours, as noted on my syllabus."

Comment:
He is tough on his students about following his specific directions. If you read the directions completely, submit all your assignments on time, and put in the effort, you'll get the A you deserve. If you're pretty self-organized, you don't really have to go to class. Just make sure you check the syllabus for important due dates.

He apparently decided to stop allowing redos of his papers in which he grades completely unnecessarily tough & critically , gave most of us in the class a D on it bc we didn't do one little thing a certain way.. rambles on about the most boring stuff repetitively & wants us to do unclear overwhelming assignments & projects that he makes sound hard

Some of the questions on his weekly quizzes are confusing or don't make sense. He sounds tough at the beginning but the 4 papers are an easy A as long as you meet all of the requirements that he outlines. They're all pretty short and don't take much time to do.

He lectures about general knowledge, then gives you quizzes on random information in the book and tries to trick you with the questions. 2 presentations, and hes fairly strict on what he looks for. His papers are also very specific, although he wont explain how. Gives you the chance to rewrite papers, which you'll need at least once.

Yes, he is tough. But he is fair. After having him a second time I can say that more than any other professor you learn real world information. Without him, I wouldn't have a job. Stick with him despite his comments and seemingly difficult grading. He only cares to see you succeed not just in his class, but life.

Yes he is very biased and he rambles on about nothing all the time. He is not very nice and may even have a temper tantrum and give a quiz on the entire text book that no one even looks at. I would avoid him. Too bad it is too late for me.

Don't bother taking him. Its a waste of time. NEVER even used the books. Wasted $60. If your papers aren't exactly the way he wants them you'll get a C or worse. When my dad had a heart attack and i missed class he literally wanted to talk to the doctor to see if i was lying or not. If he doesn't like you right away, he'll try to fail you.

He's a very good guy and he jus wants to help students prepare for writing in future classes. The first couple papers i wrote for him i got a c- and a d- but then once you figure out what he wants and learn what he teaches you do fine. i recommend taking the class with him

Biased old man that is too set in his ways. I was the only person that handed in extra credit the second day of class, he gave me a F because I misspelled a word. Avoid, it's a waste of time.

He would ramble on I agree there. Though the papers were alright I guess. One was comparing two films. I felt that the classes were almost a waste of time. He would go off on tangents about nothing really and the students would ahve their own conversations.
