Seckler is far passed his prime. His class lacks energy. His lectures are too fast and incoherent because he is bored with the material. He is unwilling to answer questions unless you come to his office. His tests and grading are far to hard. Avoid Seckler.

Has a wealth of knowledge, very thorough, but showing some age. His personality makes up for any shortcomings. Keeps class interesting and I can say that I actually left the class having learned something I will remember. Take him at least once before he retires!

Prof. Seckler is an amazing teacher. Cares about the students, and truly wants them to succeed. The main thing that annoys him is sleeping in class- other than that, he seems to enjoy teaching and sharing funny stories about himself. He is honestly one of the best professors I have ever taken, and I would recommend him to anyone

Dr. Seckler is a pretty funny and likeable professor who was always willing to help with homework problems in his office when he was in there. Homework is due by 4:30 on the assigned due date. Attendance not mandatory but HIGHLY recommended because he tells how to do each and every assigned homework problem. Do the homework.

Nice guy. Class was very relaxed and funny. He went over the homework during class time. By final grade was lower than I expected, but the class was a really good time. Not your typical engineering class.

Dr. Seckler needs to retire. He is a great guy and tries to associate with students, but only the ones he wants to know. Assignment instructions are confusing at times also and he is never in his office to answer questions. He gave me the impression that he no longer cares about the class. It is an easy A if you want it though.
