Comment:
Made a really low grade on his midterm because his TA grades his tests and didn't agree that I formatted things right. My friend essentially had the same answers got 20 points higher and an A- in the class. Refuses to help with assignments or discuss grades. Should retire if he makes his ta do his job.

Be sure to copy his code EXACTLY. Take notes on the code as well, for instance what different things mean. His assignments are not very difficult. The take home exams are pretty hard. The in class midterm was extremely difficult. He is very helpful if you talk to him in his office. One of the easier CHE professors.

He thinks he's the smartest person on the planet yet he can't answer questions about his own teaching material. Make sure to read your textbooks because even though he rarely teaches out of it, that's the only way you'll learn anything. Take notes and stroke his ego to try not to fail. Effort put into his classes does not equate to your grade.

First time he taught the class since 1982. Learned nothing from lectures. Tests were taken from the internet or out of his head so they were not similar to homework. Didn't grade his own tests. He worked no examples. Terrible experience.

His polymer engineering class is awesome. VERY interesting. Gave open note midterms and finals (You'll make an A as long as you kept good notes and paid attention in class). Work consisted of Ice Cream, Spray paint, and Potato gun papers.

Gives take home midterms and finals. #3 is always really hard. Enjoyed classes, got annoyed at the way he talks. Always helpful if you ask him for help.. however it may take a few life stories to get it out of him.
