Dr. Day is a fantastic physics professor and makes sure all of his students understand the material before testing. There is a lot of optional homework problems to help you learn the content but they aren't graded. He's willing to give you time outside of class and is overall a great guy

Day needs more reviews. Great man and great prof. Slightly socially awkward, but very caring! He attempts to cover material at a reasonable pace for the majority. He understands that Physics is not easy and demonstrates that awareness in his lectures and office hours (which are frequent). He will spend as much time as you need on whatever you need.
