Dr. Haluska was one of the best teachers I ever had. I fell in love with the English language! He expects you to show up, which you SHOULD, and to do the assigned work. Hes very available if you are having difficulty. If you think hes too ridged, maybe you need to be an adult. Hes AMAZING!!

I had him for Comp 101 and Eng. Lit. He is fair, lets you know up front what is expected and what you'll need for the grade. Naturally some morons won't do it and are shocked with a low grade. Go to class on time. Definitely pro-American and Republican. But you get plenty of leftist teachers elsewhere so don't complain. A good Christian man.

Dr. Haluska, both consistent and tough, is an outstanding English comp teacher. Show up to each class on time (not out of dress code attire...his pet peeve), memorize what he asks you to, spend time on your papers, and you can pull an A. A slightly lower grade in the class is assuredly worth all you will learn from him.

He comes across as a sanctimonious hypocrit who loves to ridicule those of us (some of whom are top students in other subjects) who are not good in English. He probably would be good teaching graduate courses in English but not poor scared little undergraduates.
