Comment:

Prof Hall's assignments aren't too time consuming or hard but valuable nonetheless and really help students reach her learning objectives. She will challenge each student to the level they need. She is fair and fun. Does talk a lot about journalism, is a bit unorganized and doesn't understand blackboard but I always looked forward to her class.

Prof. Hall is super nice but this class wasn't great. She spends 90% of it just trying to convince everyone to be a journalism major. If you are anything other than a journalism major, be prepared for a lot of nonsense that you will probably never use. Prof. Hall is willing to offer tons of help outside of class if you need it, though.

Professor Hall is a great professor and this is the second class I've taken with her, and that was done intentionally. She is a very caring person who dedicates a lot of time getting to know her students. Her biggest flaws are that she tends to jump from thought to thought without fully explaining herself but she is genuinely a good professor.

Prof. Hall is an incredibly inspiring and encouraging professor, and I really enjoyed her COMM 200 class. She provides excellent feedback on assignments, and it is evident that she truly cares about her students, both in and out of class. Prof. Hall goes above and beyond to help her students succeed. I would highly recommend taking her class.

Professor Hall is an exceptional journalist and have a huge amount of work experience to bring to the table and teach us about. As a student more focused on the "politics" piece of "politics & the media," Professor Hall was extremely helpful to me and put time aside for me to explain concepts about media and research that I was unsure about.

Professor Hall invests time in her student's work inside and outside of the classroom. Not only committed to teaching about the trends in politics and media, she also uses her connections to bring speakers into the class and to help students get jobs after graduation. I would definitely recommend taking Professor Hall.

Jane Hall is a well respected journalist. Not going to lie, the majority of the class is getting her up to date on the latest trends in media, but she's hipper than you think. She tries to keep things interesting and can be very flustered - but any good journalist is. Don't take this class if you're unorganized, you will fail.

The workload is pretty easy with small assignments every so often, a research paper, a midterm, and a final. It wasn't that hard to get an A

Jane Hall is an incredibly fun professor to have. The class it very lively and she a very unique sense of humor. However she is incredibly scatterbrained and will change the syllabus at least twice each class. A good class to take for an intro course.

Professor Hall has more energy than anyone else I know. She is really enthusiastic about the material and she gives really easy assignments. She's a little ADD and often forgets what she was originally talking about, and sometimes she uses up class time talking about her personal life, or pop culture

LOVE her. True, she can be a little unorganized, but she really has a passion for teaching about media and makes it so interesting. She used to work for TV Guide so she has met a ton of famous people and has great stories about all of her interviews. So, if you're in SOC, you need to take a class from her at least once. You learn a ton.

She knows what she's talking about. She used to write for people magazine. She's a little unorganized, but I really enjoyed this class. I recommend her. She's a fair grader and quizzes and exams aren't bad.
