I am a music minor at UCSD. Taking Mus 112 with Stevens is the only music class I regret taking. She was horrible! Weekly hw (like High school!), readings are useless, she doesn't know what she's talking about, and she's super condescending. DON'T TAKE HER!! SAVE YOURSELF! I hate Baroque opera now after this class.

This prof is really boring, in hum anyway. I have trouble paying attention and not falling asleep. She laughs at the most random things and it is for the entire lecture. This class makes me look forward to physics.

special topics in music: history of opera in the baroque period...she really knows what she is talking about; sorta boring, but every once in a while she'll make it fun. really smart. knows her stuff and TOTALLY approachable
