She is fantastic!! I have her for MKTG380 online. The beauty of this class online is that she allows you to work ahead, so you can have this class knocked out in a few weeks if you work hard (aside from the two major hw assignments and tests). She also emails you to remind you about assignments and truly cares about your success. Amazing professor!

Shes passionate & energetic & cares about her students. Shell even bring in little treats sometimes that supplement lectures. The class is mainly lecture but she intersperses some activities too. There are 2 projects. One of them is the final & there are only 2 tests! The tests are taken from the book (can use an older edition) & her slides.

She's very educated on and passionate about the subject. She has very good lectures, that engage the whole class. Her tests however, are extremely hard. She hardly covers any book material in class, so we do not even get a summary. It's difficult reading the entire textbook. I love her, but her class was difficult.

What great things can't I say about Dr. Thomas? She is very knowledgable and takes this course seriously, as she does studies all the time on consumer behavior. She is one of Winthrop's best professors. She is also really sweet. You can tell she cares and will help if you're deserving. Take every class you can with her, she rocks! Has Great Style!

Friendly teacher, interesting power-points. Very knowledgeable. The chapters are very long and hard, and the test covers all details of up to 6 chapters. Not a hard course, just a lot of memorization, and there's not a lot any teacher can do to help that except make it interesting...which Dr. Thomas does wonderfully.

Dr. Thomas knows her stuff, but as a person, i did not really care for her. She picks favorites in the class, and everyone else is on there on. She was rude everytime I asked her something, and was very snobby. Her test can be tricky, but she's a fair grader. Just make sure you read the book and look at everything on the study guide.

This class was a complete joke. If not doing anything in class yet still getting an A seems like your kind of gig then here you go. Also, I recommend when you're placed in groups to make sure you DO NOT participate because you'll still get an A. I had a group member who did exactly that and then graduated with a 4.0. What a crock of junk!

I took Dr. Thomas for the MBA marketing class. You will get a chance to work on a marketing plan for real client. This class was fairly easy and fun. She loves teaching marketing and I found Dr. Thomas being the hottest female professor (a plus to pay attention in her class)

Jane Thomas is great! She has a laid back attitude and begins her "story-like" lecture which kept my attention the entire class. Also she is very straightforward with her test by rewarding those who come to class and listen- rather than most who expect you to memorize endless lists and vocabulary that don't matter in the long run. She is real MKTG

Unless you want to read directly out of the text book and want to have boring classes, take her! She's great. Always gives real world examples and doesn't really teach the material in a conventional sort of way. Expects you to read the stuff for yourself, but will help you anytime. Projects are fun and she's really laid back. The most fashionable teacher at Winthrop.
