I do not recommend taking her class. She is very compulsive when it comes to grading. if you are off by one little thing she uses that as a reason to give you a failing grade. Please choose wisely. Wait another semester. She is not a fan of giving out full credit.

Professor Janet Brecher, I would not recommend any one to take her class. She is NOT clear, concise or to the point. Grading was a big issue. However she does include in the syllabus her grading structure but it is broken down no further to tell you how your points for each project was graded. She is not helpful. PERIOD. -. Blank

If you have a question she expects you to ask another student instead of her. The SNAP program is TERRIBLE! Freezes up & kicks you out causing you to lose points. I would take it on campus instead of online. She did reset some stuff due to issues. Only gave class 5 out of 15 allotted points due to system errors when so many were having issues.

Great class, however I have to warn that all computer Science classes are super hard when you first start learning about it. Then after you have done a few it gets easy. Janet was very helpful and whenever I had a question I would ask her in the lab. One of the better teachers I have had.

do not take this class, she is not helpful at all, and the way the class is based is horrible. the snap program has glitches, where on some occasions, you wont even be able to do a few quizzes and other works.. avoid this professor at all costs.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER! I took her online Word 2010 course and she never was available. She doesn't answer questions until after the due date for assignment. And its hard not to ask questions because the instructions are not clear!! Also the homework website she uses doesn't always work but she will gladly tell you that's not her fault! BEWARE!!!

She is the most nit picky teacher ever! She does not care how the final end product looks even if it looks right but you did it a diff. way it will be wrong.
