Professor Dodd is a very well respected professor and makes Sociology very interesting to learn. She counts on you to do the outside work but her inspirational classes tie it all together perfectly. She is there for students for any extra help they may require and made communication very open. I would strongly recommend taking one of her classes.

Comment:

Great professor. Sincerely one of the best I've had here at Syracuse. Very knowledgeable about the subject, and so passionate about Sociology that it's practically contagious. There were some reading assignments due, but grades were based mostly on group projects which were very fun and interesting to conduct. Definitely a great class.

I had this class 1st semester. no quizzes, tests, or even need to take notes. Only projects and homework that were easy. Although i know people who took the class 2nd semester and there were TAs and they said the class was hell. As long as there are no sections I think you are in the clear.

Wonderful person. No tests and all homework and group projects were very easy. Extra credit for going to class, but the discussions are so interesting that you will want to go to class.

Absolutely amazing..! Dodd is so straight foreward it can come across as aression toward a certain group, but it is actually a fervor to get those is the position of power who believe that society is an innately powered institution to understand that there is a systematic purpose to everything. She's great!!
