I had Dr. Powell for several undergraduate classes, and she was my advisor for student teaching several years ago. She was extremely supportive and helpful to me. She has a very calm personality, which I probably needed at the time to keep my Type A personality in check while I was doing my student teaching. She's a good professor.

Dr. Powell was not helpful in this class. She was very vague about what she wanted in the projects she assigned. When I asked her to look over my project weeks before it was due to make sure I was on the right track, she refused to.
