Buy the study guide on Amazon, this is what helped me get an A. There are 6 tests and some in class writing assignments that you only get the points if you attend class. The exams are a mixture of lecture and book so use the study guide to help guide your reading and make sure you take good notes. She is a wonderful professor!

She is an excellent professor, and enthusiastic. If you want to succeed in her class, then you need to be in class taking notes and doing the readings. 6 exams, which are a mix of textbook and lecture questions. This is not a blowoff class, so if you want an easy grade without putting anything into it, don't take this class.

Professor Williams is AWESOME! She is very easy to understand and very friendly. Her exam questions are right from lecture for the most part so go to class even though it is not mandatory. There are in-class writing assignments that are easy points. Exams are 60 points not cumulative. TAKE HER

Great professor! She obviously really loves her job and gets that point acroos by doing an amazing job of explaining everything you need to know for the class. Class consists of 6 curved tests and a short in-class writeup about once a week. Attendance isn't mandatory but you may miss a writeup if you don't go. I loved this class and this professor!

TAKE HER! For people who say that her tests don't go off lectures, they do, but they also go off of the readings so they obviously didn't do the text book readings. Its a lot of reading, but if you apply yourself you'll pass with an A no doubt. I'm a horrible tester & I got an A in her class. Go to lecture & read the chapters & it will be a breeze!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Grading is all based off of tests. Tests are brutal, having nothing to do what you covered in lecture. Good luck know what to study.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Boring lectures, not very helpful, and all you are graded on is tests, and a few points for in class assignments. If you are not a good test taker, then don't take this class.

Extremely boring lectures. She tends to just ramble on and on. Grading scale is 92, 82, 72, 62. She curves from the top 10% of the class. She doesn't take attendance but you need to attend because there are reading check quizzes every week that are worth points. Not planning on taking another class with her again.

Pretty straight forward class. As long as you listen in class and follow her studying directions, you'll do fine. She's a good lecturer, a little eccentric, but she does a good job of getting the material across. I would definitely take her again

I love prof Williams. Im taking her again for Developmental Psych next semester. You have to go to class, take notes, and read the chapters. Her tests are difficult, you really have to know the terms and how to apply them. She just wants her students to do well and actually know the material. Funny lady, great teacher.

Her class is based on tests scores and in-class writing assignments, so it's important that you go. Her tests are really hard, but she grades on a curve. She's a great professor and has a good sense of humor.Take her if you're willing to learn and work for a good grade.

Terrible professor. Had her for two classes and both classes were EXTREMELY boring. She still thinks its the 1930s and continues to use overhead slides. Studying for tests is next to impossible because the tests are completely different from what you learn in class and read in the book. DO NOT TAKE!!!

This professor was wonderful, but also challenging. She is very intelligent and expects her students to work hard. Tests and papers are difficult, but she grades everything with a curve. She has an intelligent, dry sense of humor, which is really funny. If you understand the material and work hard, you'll enjoy her classes.

She is a good teacher. You have to come to class tho and take notes on the things she says, she will test on it. You have to read the book too, or you will do bad on the tests. Tests are kind of hard, answers A,B,C,A&B or B&C, none/all of the above. you have to put a good amount of studying for this class tho. final is not cumulative.

She is a great professor! She's very enthusiastic. Lecture is basically mandatory because she covers material not in the book & gives random writing assignments for points. The book is a MUST, and I recommend the study guide as well. Her class is challenging (exams about every 2.5 to 3 weeks), but she's a good option for the course.

AVOID THIS CLASS! I loved the material covered in class, very interesting, but the tests are ridiculous. She has tests every other week, with most of the material NOT covered in lecture. Her lectures are hard to follow and she only uses an overhead projector. If you don't have to take this class, don't.
