Expected a lot from the students and to make it through you must be dedicated to your studies. Her voice is so loud it scares me sometimes. She is a caring prof and wants the best for her students. One time she even gave the class chocolates for coming to school during a blizzard. She is retiring now and good luck to her.

Students who have a chance to take Persuasive Writing with Janice should feel honoured! I looked forward to going to every class and really improved as a writer over the term. Her passion for writing shines through in her lectures.

Janice is truly an amazing person, she cares deeply about her students and takes the time to get to know you. I've had her for numerous classes, audio visual, and PR writing. She is a must have for any PR student. You won't regret taking one of her classes. She is not only a great professor but also a great friend.

Janice cares about her students, but beware of not following her instructions to a T - even when the instructions seem mundane. Will deduct points wherever possible because she knows it will teach you better for next time. This will drive you crazy but it's for your own benefit. Take her classes to have fun and learn lots.

Janice is a great prof. She's very engaging, and easy to listen to. She is also currently working in the field which she teaches, and is able to provide share information based on experience. Her projects are always hands-on and applicable, and are often actually used by clients. You'd be crazy not to take Janice.

Absolutely wonderful. She is an amazing teacher -- taking an evening course with her was well worth it. She is an excellent speaker, understanding and full of energy to keep the class moving. I enjoyed all her classes and her assignments.

She is really fun and has great stories. I had an evening class with her and she kept my attention the whole time. But beware she is a tough marker with grammar and spelling. For a PR student she really can spark your interest in the program when you may wonder if its for you
