Class has a lot of course work. You will need to consistently work. Roughly two chapters a week. However if you do work you will do well. She grades on a curve which will definitely bring your grade up. Very nice lady.

Easy and interesting class as long as you keep up with the work which isn't too much. She has a good sense of humor and cracks jokes a lot which makes class more fun sometimes. You will be scolded if you don't read. she has clear requirements and doesn't believe in syllabus week so she gets right to teaching on the first day of class.

Really great professor! At first I was really scared because she doesnt believe in syllabus week & taught on the first class. She goes really fast through her powerpoints so I suggest printing the slides on D2l before class and only writing down the extra stuff she says besides whats on the powerpoints. She loves dedicated and hardworking students!

Very educated on varying topics within her field. Awesome professor, but lectures were so boring. She would make 10 powerpoint slides last the entire 80 minutes just so we weren't able to get out early. Absolutely dreadful. Extremely nice woman though, and pretty funny.

Boring professor. You need to have a clicker for attendance which is mandatory and can really affect your grade. Tests are multiple choice, all in class and on the material taught in class. So if you go to class, take notes, you should easily pass.

Show up, answer the clicker questions, take notes, and you are golden. She looks mean, but she's hilarious and super friendly once you've cracked her shell. Hands down fav teacher and she's super chill as long as you do the work.

She's really funny and the material is pretty simple, but the test are challenging because you really have to know your stuff and apply what u learned. Her tests are true/false and multiple choice. I struggled and I read the book and studied really hard. She also expects you to read the book. But she's not too bad.

This professor makes her lectures quite interesting. She knows what she is talking about. You only require access to an online Pearson account (no textbook). Her exams are very straightforward and easy to pass. She uses an iClicker during lectures to assign attendance and participation points. She is very friendly and helpful too.

Professor Slamon is one of the nicest professors at Kutztown Her teaching style is good and clear I love that her grading criteria is so clear so students know what they have to do to get a higher grade Tests are based from clickers and homeworks

I had her for a 3 hour night class. Those lectures were long. I skipped probably about half of them, and she still gave me a 100% for attendance (taken with iclicker). She has 4 tests including the final, and it isn't cumulative. Hw's total the same as a test, so thats an easy A. Just make sure you study the powerpoints, and it isn't bad at all.

Great professor! She expects you to read the chapter before lecture, but she tries to make the reading material relatable to current events and general common sense. Definitely don't miss lecture, while long and somewhat boring they are crucial to her tests. Also, she is pretty strict about texting in class.

Janie Slamon is a BABE. Definitely take her class. She is very clear and gives great examples. She engages the class and I enjoy showing up. The only time you really need the textbook is for the Cengage questions. All of her online assignments are very easy.

Sometimes boring. Only reason its mandatory is because you get credit for answering clicker questions, other than that no need for going. She helps out if you need help, but primarily reads off her slideshows that are all on d2l. If you read the chapters online, do the practice tests and do well on homeworks, youll do fine but you need to study.
