jared anderson is one of the most brilliant professors ive ever had...the guy a straight-up genius. Though it is sometimes difficult to follow the near-warp-speed notes, you end up thoroughly learning the material. His nervous demeanor is also a plus, as it provides considerable comic relief during class...case in point, the funniest thing ive ever heard a professor ask: 'does anyone know the temperature at which people prefer to drink hot liquids?' take his class if you want to learn.

Good teacher, nice and clear and writes everything on the board. I've seen the comments on the stuttering but I didn't experience any difficulty...it was barely noticeable. Really wants his students to do well.

I took Anderson for Calc 1 and 2, and he was so good that I got a better grade on Calc 2 than I did on Calc 1. Also the stuttering didn't hamper much because he wrote everything on the board anyway. Yes, he was fast, thank goodness! very sweet too!

I thought he was a great professor. Some didn't like his accelerated pace, but he pulled no punches. He showed you exactly what he wanted you to know for his exams. He does studder, but he stills gets his point across. Take this man at all costs!!!

Really cares about his students, was very helpful when I came to him with questions...HOWEVER...Teaches at a rate that even Rainman couldn't understand. You had to write so fast its amazing the paper didn't go up in flames from all the friction! Studders!

WORST professor I ever had. Too nervous to lecture and hides his face behind his notes. Got a D- in his course and an A when I repeated it. Unless you are a math genius his lack of teaching ability will make the course impossible for you!
