This is my second class with Bilo, and I'll be taking another of his classes next semester. He loves to make jokes and makes lectures interesting. His exams are easy to study for, just take notes during class and study them! You also have to write a term paper, but he isn't a very hard grader and you get to choose your topic.

I really felt like I learned a lot about the world in general. The class wasn't very hard either as long as you pay attention during lecture. Over all amazing person and really cared about his students. There was one paper (8 pages) we had to write for class, however, you get to chose a topic that interests you which makes it better.

Dr. Bilo might be one of the best professors in the College of Arts and Sciences and in the Political Science department. He really cares about you and 'your grade. Taking notes in class is the only way to do well in his class. You need to go to class in order to do well. But overall, not too hard of a class. I'm for sure taking him again.

Amazing professor!! Would for sure take it again. Take detailed notes of his lectures and you will be fine. Learned so many things about the world and globalization that I would not have otherwise learned. Recommend: 10/10

Dr. Bilo is the best professor I've had at UD. I loved all of his classes, I've taken 3 so far, and wish I could take more. His lectures are very detailed and thorough, so if you take good notes, pay attention, and attend class you should be well prepared for the exams. He really cares about his students, if you take his class you won't regret it!

Dr. Bilo was a wonderful professor! He seems super passionate about what he teaches and I loved his bad jokes during the semester. Make sure to show up to class; it's lecture heavy and the exams come directly from his lectures. Grades are midterm, final, term paper, quiz, and participation. Follow the paper guidelines and participate, you'll pass!

Dr. Bilo is one of the best professors that I've ever had at UD. His enthusiasm for politics makes discussions and lectures very interesting. There's a midterm, paper, and a final. He cares for his students and is always available to meet after class for any help you might need. I've taken him twice now, and hope to take him again.

Dr. Bilo's class was my favorite at UD so far. Learned so much and he made complex issues understandable. Have to study for tests and there's one big paper, but you can do well with a reasonable amount of effort. Every class is run in the same way so expectations are clear. Amazing professor! All of his material is highly relevant to current events and he does not mince words. Be prepared to take very thorough notes and paying attention in his class is crucial to passing since he does not provide study guides. I've taken him twice already and both times it was a very rewarding and informative course.

Dr. Bilo is a perfect example of why many choose small schools over large state schools. He is always checking with students to make sure the material he lectures over is being presented clearly. Reading is essential to getting an A in any of his classes. This class is worth the little bit of extra work just to have him as a prof.

He is one of the best professors I have had at UD. He is very passionate about his students and is interested in teaching them. We had one quiz, a midterm, a term paper and a final. Not many grades so you gotta study and make it count. Overall, one of my favorite classes and I will be taking his national security class now too.

Loved Dr. B, he was probably the reason I switched my major to political science! Expects you to participate regularly and is clear that readings are important - you won't be totally lost without them though as his noteslectures are thorough and interesting. Very few opportunities for grades so study hard and prepare for the papers early!

One of my favorite professors on campus. His lectures are really interesting and make you actually want to go to class. TAKE DETAILED NOTES, that's the only way to study for his exams, so make sure you go to class!

Very knowledgeable and passionate. Midterm, big paper, final. Wish there were more grades. His study guide is what he "writes on the board" so preparing for tests is difficult. Reading for every class but not too much. Interesting class and topics. Made issues real. Great prof but be prepared to work.
