Amazing professor. Took his upper division class and he taught it very very well! Hard material but easily understood with him teaching it! One of the best classes I have ever had. I was nervous going in because always heard it was very difficult (it is) but it was also fantastic!

Comment:

Dr. Johnson was awesome in Chem lab. He requires you to keep a lab notebook up to date and will check them at some point during the semester. He is very straightforward and helpful. He was always kind and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. His exams are significantly harder than the quizzes but I would definitely take him again.

Johnson's class was actually not that bad. Sometimes it's the little things he says in class that are on the test but most of the questions come straight off of his packets of notes. Work hard and study a week in advance for an A/B.

He is very passionate about biochem and he expects you to be too. he regularly holds you longer than the scheduled times. His tests are over his notes, but they are insanely difficult bc he specifically tries to trick you and lead you to the wrong answer in every question. in my class there was only 1 A on each test out of the entire class.

His class is hard, but he is a great teacher. All of his test are HARD multiple choice. He gives out notes, but go to class and take all the extra notes you can. It is the little extras that are going to be on the test and you need to clearly understand them.

One of the best professors at this school. His exams are straight off his notes and he's very clear on what he wants you to know. He explains everything very well. If you want a good grade just come to his class and study his notes. He's become one of my favorite teachers.

Dr. Johnson is a really good teacher. He is very knowledgable and seems to be passionate about getting his students interested in chemistry. He breaks everything down to where it is very clear (at least if you have a good understanding of chemistry, if not you probably aren't going to make it through the prerequisites to get into this class anyway)
