Comment:

Very nice, interesting man. Highly recommend having a conversation with him. Uses a lot of humor in his lectures, which helps. If you don't like English, you'll struggle with it. As an Eng major, I enjoyed the content mostly. He's a tough grader. I've been in college 3 years and got my first B grade. VERY difficult class, but I got a lot out of it.

Dr. Peters is one of my favorite profs. He is extremely intelligent and I adore his lectures. He is approachable and super willing to help with anything you could possibly need. I have taken multiple classes with him because he makes me want to work hard and learn as much as I can. His classes are hard, but SO worth it!! You'll never learn more.

Jason Peters is exceptionally intelligent and humorous. He will simultaneously confuse you and inspire you. Some people find him offensive but he's brilliant and insightful. I feel like Helen Keller in his presence but now I am enlightened. He also has great stories to tell.

I couldn't champion this guy enough. His 'sermons' are not only insightful but they're also entertaining. If you don't take the time to read the material, you're not going to do well; but if you do and you show up to class, you may walk out with more than just a grade--he can open your mind to ideas that last well beyond the span of the course.

Dr. Peters' bark is worse than his bite. On the surface, he seems like an arrogant, cynical, angry man but deep down he really cares about the world and about his students. He has high expectations while still understanding that we are still learning and doesn't expect perfection on papers, only improvement. Definitely recommend.

AWESOME PROFESSOR! one of the more difficult professors but he makes you know your stuff and you will learn more than you ever though. also, he is soooo funny and basically made me pee my pants every class period. i loved this passion for english and especially for wendell berry and making fun of the class. fun guy, will learn a lot!!

Forget long readings or tough grades: What you need is a good sense of humor and an ability to laugh at yourself. I'm not sure why I like Dr. Peters, maybe because he's right, but he makes a regular habit of insulting the class, the administration, the government, society... Strong environmentalist, self-proclaimed 'Death watcher', but verylikeable

I loved Jason Peters. He really made me see that I am a great writer. He pushed me to double major in Art and English, though they wouldn't let me...it was him believing in me that mattered. I love that he isn't afraid of dead air too. Really makes you think. :)
