I had Jeng for Principles of Corporate Finance. Don't bother reading or buying the book. He lectures every class and only gave us one hw assignment. Nothing is grades except the Midterm and Final but they are really long. As long as you take good notes on all the practice problems in class you should be fine, go to his office hours for help.

Professor Jeng has a rough exterior as a Professor, but if you truly pay attention in his class and ask questions you will learn a lot. His take home midterms and finals are where you truly learn about finance, he puts a lot of things on there that were not covered in depth in class and it forces you to research which teaches you how to think.

Jeng is a legit professor. He is tough, but he really teaches you the material and puts forth effort to help you understand if you dont get it the first time. He doesn't mind repeating himself 7 times if needed because he is ware his accent is strong and finance is a tough area , so raise your hand and ask.

As a veteran, this professor knows how to shout to ensure his class is awake. He can teach a lot of great details from perspective worth looking. However, he is difficult to satisfy. With his reliability with papers rather test, plus his determination, this professor is either friend or foe.

Do whatever you can to take this class w/ someone else. tells pointless stories every class. doesnt explain anything clearly. his accent is god awful and so hard to understand. avoid at all costs. mid term and final are take home and take multiple hours.

Dr. Jeng was an awesome professor! Super funny guy. Midterm and final aren't bad as long as you go to every class and take good notes. Make use of his office hours because he will help you through each problem you are confused about on the midterm and final. If you want to learn and have a funny prof, take him!

The hardest class I have taken in my under graduate career. Saves the bulk of the work load for the last 5 weeks of the semester. You will absolutely hate your life during the midterm and even more during the final. Exams take close to 40 hours. Great guy, VERY hard class

Jeng is not your conventional prof. He definitely has his own way of teaching, but the class overall is really good. You can learn a lot from it if you put in the effort. He doesn't really have any office hours, but he makes the subject very understandable in class if you ask. He is also very funny; he tells jokes and stories in every class.

Jeng is a tough professor because he's really understands his area of expertise. There is not any busy work you simply take the final and the mid term both take home. However they are difficult, he keeps lectures funny with his interesting humor. If you need help he is always very helpful just meet with him during office hours.

Dr. Jeng is an appropriate teacher for this course, especially at APU where his faith, stories, and jokes are openly shared. This course is meant to be difficult compared to other business classes. Jeng's a noble scholar and his workload is bearable. You should ask questions and keep up with the text while he teaches. & he always let us out early.

Jeng can be a little crazy, but hilarious. Jeng's midterms and finals are killers like legitimately they will take over your life while working on them. However that's pretty much the only work you have to do in his class. If you put in the work though you will learn so much.

Most people just get shocked of his teaching style. He might seems harsh at times but it is just his style and sometimes it is actually his jokes that people just don't get it. He is really funny and random guy!! If you talk to him outside tough he is really helpful.I learned a lot from his classes. You just need to actually study and dig deep.

Absolutely TERRIBLE! I have had some bad professors, he is by FAR the very worst. None of his concepts are comprehensible. He speaks to hear himself speak, and mocks his students when he asks them to do a problem that he hasn't taught. In fact, he doesn't teach at all! And then he tests on ridiculous material that has not been covered. Do NOT TAKE!

Very hard to learn from. I know he cares about students learning, but with such a large class, and and his thick accent. It's difficult to pay attention in class. He doesn't care much about attendance, and doesn't assign homework. Grades on a huge curve, but still a tough class.

It was a tough class to take not because of the material, but because Jeng is extremely unclear and very lazy. He said he was to busy to write his own quizzes, tests, midterms, and finals. His exams are almost entirely composed of specifics that you didn't go over in class... A hard teacher with a thick accent. Also,he yells alot if you argue any

wow. so much to say about jeng. he's crazy for one but he's also hilarious. some of the weirdest stuff i've ever ehard was said by him in that class. tests and quizzes are extremely hard. they're all take home but you can't help each other. i did learn a lot though

Jeng is a very difficult prof. The final was incredibly difficult. He also isn't the best at making the subject easy to understand. However, he is really understanding and very helpful. He cares about his students and is eager to teach and accommodate. You don't have much choice, but he's not a bad prof.

He is an amazingly smart scholar and he has a unique but enjoyable sense of humor. With that in mind, if you want to learn how to apply your classroom knowledge in the real world, you will be sorely dissapointed. His classes are incredibly boring
