The class is called Chemistry for Everyone... it's actually Chemistry for everyone named Bill Nye, Rainman, and Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Some of the things she's teaching us are things she claims she didn't learn until she went for her doctorate. Let me remind you that this is an entry level course.

She is really trying, but may be hard to understand due to her quiet nature. The tests, quizzes and the in-class question is pretty much the only thing she grades, so if you are a bad test or quiz taker then this class may be difficult.

Dr. Ko genuinely does want her students to learn but she's not a good or understandable professor. Sadly, she's pretty much your only option for SCI107. I recommend taking the time to print out all of the class slides and studying from them. The textbook is pretty much useless, only used it to help with a few quizzes.

She thinks she is teaching but she is really just rambling. She doesn't make any sense 99% of the time and gets mad when someone asks a question during class. You have weekly quizzes online and attendance quizzes online after every class. You can fail both the midterm and final and get and A in the class. I did. Just do good on the weekly quizzes.

All she talks about is how much she loves chemistry instead of teaching it. She thinks she's teaching but 99% of the time you don't know what she's talking about. I took it because its chemistry for everyone but you have to be a genius to past. Weekly quizzes every week, and daily quizzes in her class. Only have a Midterm and Final exam.

She seems like a nice person, a couple times a question was asked and she TRIED to answer, but it didn't help. Some people love the subject they teach, but are absolutely horrible at teaching it, and she's one of those people. There's no way you would understand this course if you didn't have previous knowledge of chemistry.

You don't have to be there, but you get a daily in-class question every class. I took this cause someone said it was "8th grade chemistry." You'd have to be a smart 8th grader to understand that stuff.

Dr. Ko is a good person. She is sweet and actually thinks that she is teaching and that her students are understanding, but 90% of the time they aren't. She goes too fast and expects us to just "get it". Weekly quizzes, no tests except final. Quizzes were a little hard, some answers weren't even on the internet tho. Final was extremely difficult.

This class was really easy if you go to class. The quizzes are all online and you have plenty of time to take each one. The final for this class is not hard. She goes over everything for it the day before the test. The only people who earn a poor grade in this class are the people who do not attend regularly.

I hate science and ended up with an A in the course. There are weekly quizzes of which you get 3 chances and you keep your highest score. As long as you put in the time and effort you will do well on the quizzes. Only thing I'll complain about is the final. It was very hard since we only had quizzes throughout the semester. Just put in the effort.

You have weekly quizzes online that you can take three times and she takes your best score. She's actually nice but her class is prety hard. It is managable though if you're not completely lazy. The final is impossible so work hard all year so you can fail it(Because you will).

All of you must be smoking crack! Shes the worst teacher ever. No one understands what she is talking about. She just talks to herself up on the board. I think 2 questions were asked all semester, and she flipped when they were asked. Her lab isnt bad, but her lectures are horrible! YOU DONT LEARN ANYTHING. WORST TEACHER I EVER HAD!

I had Dr. Ko for class. I have a hard time understanding sciences and Ko did not explain anything so that I could understand. I ended up looking up most everything when I took the quizzes but if you get a good lab grade and pass the quizzes with at least B's you will pass the class. But lecture was about worthless for me.

Dr. Ko is a very good teacher. At first I didn't like her but as the semester went on she became more helpful. Her lectures became a little more complicaited but she also went more in depth so everyone understood. No homework just weekly online quizes. Semi-easy class

I had Dr. Ko for lab. She is the most wonderful teacher. I loved going to lab. She makes the lab more enjoyable. If you need help, she helps. She really cares about how we do. Wonderful.
