This guy seems nice and funny at first, but then i realized how much he expects out of his students. Way too many readings!!! It seems he thinks we have only this class to focus on...and he is very very picky about the essay you have to write.DOesn't give class notes and multiple choice questions are rediculous!!

Somebody tell me why electrical engineers need a course on ecology from an anthropologist? Most of this course's purpose is to justify its existance. Knowing that the area of Easter Island is 64 square miles DOES NOT MAKE ME A BETTER ENGINEER. He should stop complaining about these "problems" and pose some solutions.

Awesome. Speaks many dif languages. Plenty of stories of living & researching with tribes. The best anthro teacher ever! You hardly need to study cuz you actually listen to his lectures and take everything in. Loved it! Would take it over!

Tough course, but he is very good at what he does. If you plan on skipping any classes of 76.239 don't bother signing up, you'll fail. Be prepared for heavy journal readings and tough term papers. Class attendance is essential to passing.
