She is extremely caring and makes sure her students knows what to do with their major, career, post-college. She is super sweet. Class is extremely easy and effective. Teaching style is like Kevin Farmer. Cares about the welfare of students. Attendance is very important to her.

Class was just tedious to be honest, lectures are her just reading over what you shouldve read before class. Lots of group based exercises involving pop quizzes that are relatively difficult. She as a professor is fine, somewhat involved. There's better MHR professors out there but if you get stuck with Jeanne its not the end of the world.

This so-called leadership class feels like an English class. Too many papers to write. Grades aren't updated in a timely matter. Her exams are ridiculous. It's those kinds of test where seems like it can be two answers, but you can only pick one out of the 4 offered. Being logical just doesn't cut it, understand the concepts and you'll be fine.

Professor Almaraz is a great person and teacher. She just gives way to many papers to write, there is journals, assessments and essays. Every week at least 2-3 papers due. minimal writing but its not helpful at all for the test. the test are five or more chapters. I truly believe there should not be test in a leadership class.

The class doesn't know what their actual or current grade throughout the quarter because she does not grade all our work within a timely matter. She needs to reevaluate her grading system/calculation with Blackboard, especially with the journals. There are group interactions and there might be guest speaker meetings that you will have to attend.

Professor Almaraz is a tough nice professor. Although she may assign a lot of work it is manageable. My recommendation is to start on your projects early with her class and get ahead early in the qtr other wise it will be hard to catch up late in the qtr.

Very nice and personable. So much busy work for just a 2 unit class it is ridiculous. Helpful outside the classroom, BUT by far the most classwork I had to do for any 4 unit class regardless of the subject, and it was only for 2 units of credit.

This class has wayy too much work to do. it requires more work than almost any class ive taken. there are about 14 essays you have to write and theres a TON of outside work needed for this class. She needs to calm down on the work load.

Like many before me have stated, this class has the workload of a 4 unit class if not more, but is in fact only worth 2. Nice lady but she really needs to reassess her cirriculum.

Almaraz is nice...sometimes. She does favor some students over others, but if you do your work and study for her exams you'll do fine. I don't think she liked me but I still recieved an A. MHR 200 is the most work you'll ever do for a 2 unit class.

This professor provide a very professional course of instruction. She gives unannouced quizzes on a whole chapter that consist of 3 or 4 questions. The tests are difficult because they consist of several chapters of multiple choice, defining undisclosed terms and the essays you don't have any idea what they will be on. Hard that way..easy in other

This class required way too much work. This class took more time and more work then any 4 unit class I have taken... She needs to remember this is a 2 unit class. The amount of work she requires is ridiculous and even if you turn in all four of her like 20 page reports that require outside interviews and appointment, you can still get a C or lowe

She doesn't do much teaching. Most of the teaching comes in the form of group presentations and group papers. Her exams cover over six chapters each causing possible brain overload. Her exams consists of multiple choice, short essay and defining definitions.
