Comment:

This is flat out the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. I am about a 3.8 Gpa student and I failed this class. He was not helpful at all, he never responded to any emails, the work and assignments were never clear and the due dates were hidden. I sent in an appeal due to the terrible efforts of this teacher. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!

Comment:

Took Hybrid class. We had 3 classes on campus (Saturday morning)--he was late for 2 of them. "Who knew that there would be construction on Saturday" was his excuse both times. You never knew when he might post an assignment, and due dates were all over the calender, from 2 to 5 days. This class was a waste.

Took forever to grade assignments, RARELY replied to questions within project time limits, instructions unclear on most projects, and didn't give us any original teaching material (online class); it was all stuff created by other people. I can say it was one of the worst classes I've taken, and Pr. Bowker is one useless teacher.

Well he is a nice teacher but all he does is give you lectures. I don't think I'll pass this class. The people who are passing his class are student who have done computer info for years. I'm just starting out in this field.

The only thing interesting and/ or educational about his class are his political views. Easy A if you're already a computer genius or psychic.. good luck!! I don't think anyone in the class got higher than a C, including me. Im just thankful that I passed.

Worst teacher I have EVER had in my entire life. Late with grading assignments so you have no idea where you stand in the class, talks about politics the whole time instead actually teach. I watched as another student in the class asked more than 3 times for help on an assignment and this guy REFUSED to walk over and instruct.

I agree with the former posters that mention how disorganized this guy is. I can't even express how frustrating it is to take this class. It's 2 weeks before finals and most of our work remains ungraded. I also agree that he talks an awful lot about politics and very little about computers. Take this online or with a different teacher if possible.

This guys horrible. He does nothing but small talk about politics the first 30-45 minutes. Then gives three labs to do with no explanation or help. It would be easier to just teach yourself at your own pace because in his class you pretty much are teaching yourself but you're rushed.

By far the most unorganized teacher I have EVER had. Not clear at all, way too much work, won't e-mail you back. I took an online class with him it was HELL. We met 4 times that semester and all he talked about was himself. Interesting class. Horrible teacher. If you want to keep your sanity I do not recommend taking his class.

Online:He is not organized well, its tough to know if you did everything. A good amount of work. Directions were not always clear. I emailed him multiple times about 1 assignment and he never replied. I ended up getting 10/100 even though I did what the directions said. Still got an A. For tests, you had to go in or be on proctor-cam. No Book.

A nice guy and very knowledgeable on the course content, BUT not organized well. The online layout had me searching for assignments and where to submit them. No extbooks used- great for the student, saves money and computer books will be outdated by the time you use them. Workload was high-lots of projects. Tough to know where you stand grade-wise

THIS IS BY FAR THE EASIEST CLASS I'VE EVER TAKEN!! I TOOK THE 6 WK COURSE OVER THE SUMMER N GOT A "B", ONLY B/C I MISSED A FEW ASSIGNMENTS(IT WAS SUMMER SO SUE ME I HAVE A LIFE) HE HAD A LIST OF ASSIGNMENTS, FOLLOW THE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS IN THE BOOK CAREFULLY, TURN IT N ON TIME,SCORE AN "A"! Online. Easy if you know word, excel, and power point. Tests are really easy, but you have to search the internet for the answers. You wont find them in the text book. Lazy at grading. Three weeks left of class and more than half of the assignments are not graded yet, but I know I passed with an A. Does not communicate well at all.
