We had a quiz everyday. Also, he actually assigns seats. I personally had a bad experience with him.

You can clearly tell he does not have any excitement for the material, is inconsistent with grading, unadapted to technology, lectures and quizzes all illogical to an actual math and reason mind. Bad grader, strict with class organization, what answers he will accept, and is late to his own class and in his lectures only focuses on graphics in text

He is great at teaching. However, not when it comes to what's on his exams. His exams are complicated, and so hard to understand. He is the stereotypical teacher that gives you a study guide and says "this is what will be on the exam," but then hardly any of it is. He also says that we need to go out on vacation more often. Don't take his class.

Very Difficult class. Everything is based off of his lecture, which is very chaotic and confusing. Not helpful and will not let you make up any assignments. I do not recommend taking any classes with him.

This is by far the worst professor I have had in ALL my schooling. The tests have little to nothing to do with what he talks about in class, which usually doesn't coincide with the textbook anyway. Most quizzes had nothing to do with the reading, and his tests are difficult even if you read the book. Very knowledgable but cannot teach well at all

I only took GEOG 2300 with Dr. Gordon and it was one of the most confusing courses that I've had during my 4 years at BGSU. He was rather unclear and the class itself was nothing more than cartoons and useless trivia. BTW: Using the book is important to do well in the course.

He is a very dry instructor, the class is boring and he doesn't help any. The test questions often were over something that we didn't cover in class and I could never find in the book. Avoid if you can.

Dr. Gordon was iffy for me. He was off topic most of the classes, I only missed one. The tests were difficult and you must read the book. It saved me this semester. Bring it to class everyday because you use it all the time. Be careful if you are looking for a teacher that interests you during class. I passed because I was able to teach myself.

lectures are extremely off topic, your best bet is to just read all the chapters. book is completely necessary. i would recommend this teacher for someone who likes to teach themselves

His lectures are off topic. Tests are difficult because he uses book questions as well as his lectures, which are never on topic and jumpy.

He gets off subject very easily. He required a quiz for attendance points every class period. His lectures were boring and unhelpful. Almost impossible to take notes during class because he jumps all over the place in lecture. Would not recommend.

Took multiple classes with this JG and he is by far the WORST teacher at any level I have had in my life. Ex: On one test a major section was a fill in the blank recreation of a map in the class text of Scandinavian settlements in Minnesota. Avoid him at all costs unless you love Henry Winkler look alikes.

He doesn't really teach anything that useful in class. It's all from the book. He gives random quizzes that account for some part of your grade, but he doesn't take attendance. He gave one out of class assignment and the directions were more confusing than those of any research paper I've ever written.

I think this professor looks like Henry Winkler (now), and wears some pretty awesome suits everyday. He is very entertaining, and shows a genuine interest in the subject. The exam questions are pretty unpredictable, so read and reread the text. he does offer some extra credit on the exams, so overall, the class isn't too bad. I would recommend it.

He's witty and entertaining with easy to understand lectures. He explains himself and asks questions, BUT read the book, because the lectures really aren't on the exams...

Be sure to read your text book because class time you learn little to no information in class that is on the exam. He makes the class fun but would rather go over information in class that will be on the exams. Sometimes I think I am wasting my time and money going to that class, thank god he doesn't take attendance

He definitely wears some of the more unique outfits everyday. As a Geography major, I was hoping to breeze through this class, but no study guides, LOOK AT MAPS IN BOOK! and know certain countries for exams because I thankfully passed the first exam not knowing what to expect or review for the exam. Too many cartoons in class, but sometimes fun.

The thing that annoys me about him is that he asks questions for the class to answer a million times every day, but they are always super easy so no one wants to answer. It makes the class go a lot slower. But for the most part, he's good. Common sense stuff. Tests were easy. And I love his clothes. Reminds me of a true gentleman.

The class was interesting... I never felt the need to skip, but you really have to read the book. If not you are basically screwed because the lectures don't cover any of the exam material. And your whole grade is comprised of midterms and your final.

His lectures were actually pretty interesting, and he has a sense of humor, which helps...but almost none of his lectures are on the tests. You have to basically teach yourself the book and take lots of notes during lecture to do well. It's way too much work for a class I'm not interested in. I would never recommend this class to anyone.
