Very organized man, very clear in his explanations. Gets our assignments back on time and is always in and available to chat during office hours. Drinks a lot of coffee during class. Tough grader on essay assignments but he gives you lots of chances to get a good grade with extra points opportunities.

Lantis is the a stand-up guy with a good ability to teach a class. Although he is regarded as one of the hardest grading teachers on campus, I also think he is fair. With a good layout for in-class work, Lantis has sparked my interest in International Relations and I am now pursuing it as my major.

i swear he likes to hear himself talk--which made me not happy with him. however, he was nice and easy to talk to. he clearly tries hard to be good in and out of class but he is not amusing and rarely does anything interesting in class--and i was planning on majoring in IR. he isnt my type of professor but besides talking in circles he's fine.

Lantis is the best professor I have ever had. He keeps class interesting with quality humor, and good presentation of the material. He isn't easy, but he is fair. He has also done a great job for me as an academic adviser. He's a nice guy who is easy to talk to.
