I'm a CSCI major and would definitely not recommend taking Linder as he does not teach you anything. It's very easy to get by with asking for help, but if you plan on going higher with computer science you will be very confused in CSCI 150. I rely on our student assistant for help because Linder will get mad at you if you ask for help.

So the class was fairly easy, participation doesnt matter, but he doesnt actually lecture or help you out when you need it. Also, he grades so strict on the power point which is 13 of your grade. I got a's on everything and a b on the powerpoint and somehow got a b- in the class? he wont give a good grade on the powerpoint no matter what either.

EXTREMELY easy teacher. Doesn't care if you attend class. Just do the weekly assignments. Grade based off a powerpoint project in the beginning at a final excel spreadsheet at the end! Do not get his grading because I ended up with a C after getting 100s all semester. But, TAKE THE CLASS!!!!

doesnt care if you attend class, just need to complete the assignments. doesnt take off points for turning in stuff late. only about 5 easy excel assigments for the whole course. when you do go to class, if you need to, hes nice and helpful

I took his online class, and ended up getting behind on the assignments, and he let me turn things in late without deducting any points. He was really helpful and understanding. I have probably looked at Excel twice before I took the class, and I made an A! Def. take Linder!!! Easiest A ever!

Awesome teacher. Not necessary to go to class but you can if you need help. we did the exams at the end of the chapters and a very easy final. didnt take much but i learned quite a bit. highly recomended!

VERY EASY PROFESSOR!!!! Explains the first day of class he will give you the rope just don't hang yourself with it. Just do your homework and show up to class when he emails you. Easy excel test and easy class and I'm not even that good with computers! NO FINAL!!!

He is an easy teacher if u know what u know what u are doing. You can do your work elsewhere so u don't have to come to class which is awesome. I had an A and I only came to class 4 times out of the whole semester and the best part....NO FINAL EXAM!
